LOCATION

Reef Song is home ported at the Leverick Bay Marina on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

The  typical sailing area is the BVI  (British Virgin Islands) and you are within sight of an island at all times. Sailing is easy and safe.  The scenery and  weather is great along with many harbors and areas to anchor or pick up a mooring.  There are lots of restaurants, beaches, place to have a cool drink or coral reefs to snorkel on.

INVENTORY AND SPECIFICATIONS

On Deck:
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52.2 features wide walk around areas with inboard shrouds promoting close sheeting for going to windward and easy access forward. Even the little details are taken care of, such as installing the windlass in a protected compartment to protect it from harmful salt water spray and to clear the deck area for easy sail handling. Cleats all have built in nylon rollers so dock lines can be led to winches for springing the boat into the dock in difficult situations. ...The cockpit is extremely generous with a large table with folding leaves, built-in icebox, high power led cockpit light and 8 drinkholders.
General Comments: Number of Cabins: 5  Number of Heads: 5  Number of Berths: 10  Number of Crew Berths: 2  Keel: Fin with Bulb.  Steering: Twin Wheels. All controls are led to the forward end of the cockpit. The twin wheels are a delight. They make for easy passage through to the integral swim platform, where you'll find the crew trailing their feet in the water on a hot day, or swimming and lounging while at anchor. This setup also gets the skipper outboard where he can really see the sails (and see around them!) and he can even grab or toss a line during docking maneuvers. ...Sail handling is a breeze with the  Furling Genoa and In-Mast Furling Main sail. Even the sheet winches are located forward, so that, with an autopilot, one person can completely manage and even tack the boat from the protection of a dodger. Now you can have many of the advantages of a pilot house with none of the disadvantages!

Main Salon:
Below, there is an oversized, wrap-around dinette with comfortable seating for up to 8. It features 6' 7" headroom in the Salon Area. One of the best parts about the cabin of the Jeanneau is it's link to the outside world and the ventilation is superb!

Cabin Types:
Sleeps 8 in 4 double cabins and 2 in the salon, plus 2 in the crew cabin accessible through large hatch on the foredeck. The Salon table converts to double berth. There is blue microfiber upholstery throughout with teak laminated ply. The two forward double cabins easily convert to a large queen cabin for extra room.

Galley and Heads:
5 heads each with a Jabsco toilet, wash basin and shower. 1 head in the crew cabin with a washbasin. Four twelve and one eight gallon holding tanks. Transom hot and cold shower.
